BIPOC Sunday Community Meal and Gathering
4 - 6 p.m. , Nativity Lutheran Church, 60850 Brosterhous Road, Bend
A community meal is an occasion for gathering in order to share food and experiences with each other. Bend is a white city. As such, there are limited community spaces for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) individuals and families to gather, interact and share. As part of Bend's Welcoming Week and hopefully, every month after, Nativity Lutheran Church would like to host a Sunday community meal for BIPOC families and individuals to gather, break bread and be with each other in a safe and welcoming space.
