Did you know that since 1987, Oregon has been a sanctuary state that supports immigrant and refugee communities by prioritizing human rights, dignity and safety. Join the Latino Community Association to learn about the Oregon Hate and Bias hotline. Immediately following the photo exhibit, from 7 to 8 pm, LCA will offer a workshop and community forum at Está Bien!, located at 221 NW Hill St, Bend, where you will learn the specific protections for protected classes in Oregon, why it is important to report hate and bias incidents, and how to be an ally and effective legal observer!
