For the Week of February 19 – 25:
- Eagle Road between Butler Market Road and NE Flagstone Avenue for a watermain installation, full day road closure with detour, begins Feb. 20.
- Intersection of Wall Street and Colorado Avenue for gas main work, single lane closure with potential delays along Wall Street and Colorado Avenue, Feb. 19 – 24, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- SW 18th Street between SW Simpson Avenue and SW Forest Ridge Avenue for infrastructure improvements, full road closure with detour, begins Feb. 20.
- Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project, Phase 1 – This project will provide water distribution system upgrades to the Awbrey Butte area with eight interrelated water improvement subprojects. For more information, visit the Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project website.
- NW Ninth Street (Roanoke Avenue to Trenton Avenue): Intermittent flagging of Ninth Street for work on stormwater facilities on the west side of Ninth Street near Trenton Avenue.
- Portland Avenue (Awbrey Road to Wall Street): Full Road closure with a detour on Awbrey Road, Newport Avenue, and Wall Street. Local access will be maintained for any properties with driveway access within the closure limits.
- Shevlin Park Road (NW Crossing Drive to Mt. Washington Drive): The westbound travel lane of Shevlin Park Road will be closed for sewer main installation. The detour route for westbound traffic is NW Crossing Drive (southbound), Lemhi Pass Drive (southbound), Skyliners Road (westbound), and Mt. Washington Drive (northbound). The intersection of Mt. Washington Drive and Shevlin Park Road will be regulated by flaggers as sewer work approaches the intersection.
Ongoing Closures:
- Bend North Corridor, Oregon Department of Transportation Project – Infrastructure improvements along Highway 97 from Empire Avenue to Grandview Drive. Highway 97 will also be realigned to allow free flowing movement. Various types of traffic control will be implemented during construction. Expect additional delays throughout this segment of the corridor. Expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
- NW Shevlin Park Road between NW Crossing Drive and NW College Way for a gas main installation, single lane closure with lane shifts, began Dec. 26.
- Cooley Road between Highway 20 and Hunnel Road for infrastructure and roadway improvements, full road closure with detour, began Dec. 26.
- Wilson Corridor Improvements Project – Street improvements on Wilson Avenue from Second Street to 15th Street. For more information visit the Wilson Project website. This is a multiphase project with various intersections and road closures throughout its entirety.
- Wilson Avenue between SE Second Street and SE Third Street has a westbound closure with detour.
- Wilson Avenue between SE Third Street and SE Fourth Street has a full road closure with detour.
- Beginning Feb. 8, there will be no left turn lanes in any direction at this intersection.
- Third Street traffic will be shifted to one lane between SE Railroad Street SE Taft Avenue. Please note, blue cones are directing business access.
Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and other factors. Always exercise increased caution within construction zones. Drivers should use designated detour routes. Nearby residential streets are for local traffic only.
Any road closure not listed within this report, please submit a service request to notify the city of any potentially unpermitted work within City right of way. Please visit the Transportation and Mobility Department to submit.
