This project will decommission the Tri-Peaks, Shire, and Desert Skies Pump Stations.

The Pump Station Decommissioning, Phase 3 Project is the third construction phase of the Pump Station Decommissioning Program. This project will decommission the Tri-Peaks, Shire, and Desert Skies Pump Stations. Construction will occur on public right of way on the following streets:

  1. Tri-Peaks: Rolen Avenue and Edro Place
  2. Shire: Benham Road and Chase Road
  3. Desert Skies: Daly Estates Drive and Clairaway Avenue

Gravity sewer mains and sewer laterals will be installed along a portion of Benham Road to allow a total of approximately four properties to decommission their septic systems and connect to the public sewer.

  • 100% Design: Complete
  • Contractor Selection: Complete - Taylor Northwest
  • Construction:
    • Desert Skies: Ongoing through October 2021
    • Tri-Peaks: Complete
    • Shire: Ongoing through November 2021

The public is invited to attend this meeting for the Pump Station Decommissioning Phase 3 Project. The City will review the project, construction impacts, traffic detours, parking requirements, and tentative schedules.
