DESCRIPTION:Come learn about the City’s Planning for People Streets Study. The State of Oregon requires cities with over 100\,000 people\, like Bend\, to allow for “low-car districts” (people streets) in all mixed-use and residential areas the next time those cities update their Transportation System Plan. Bend’s updated Transportation Plan will be completed by 2027. \nPeople Streets are designed for people to walk\, bike\, and roll. To support this\, car traffic may be slowed down\, reduced\, or restricted.
