DESCRIPTION:Notice of Hybrid Meeting:\n\nThe Human Rights and Equity Commission (HREC) conducts hybrid regular meetings in person in Council Chambers at City Hall\, 710 NW Wall Street\, and via Zoom. To join this meeting via Zoom\, attendees must pre-register to receive a personalized Zoom link. On the last Wednesday of the month\, February 26\, 2025\, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM\, you can watch the HREC hybrid meeting live at 4:30 p.m. \nTo Attend by Computer\, Pre-Register: You will receive an email confirmation with a personal link with information on how to connect via computer or phone. \nTo Attend by Phone (No Pre-Registration Required): \n\nDial Toll Free: 1-888-788-0099\nWebinar ID: 864 2212 0978\nPasscode\, if prompted: 4732 (HREC)\n\nHREC February 26\, 2025\, regular hybrid meeting\, live at 4:30 p.m. \nTechnical Difficulties Connecting to this Meeting: Call 541-410-9341. \nPublic Comment Section: \nPublic Comment during the Human Rights and Equity Commission is intended to be welcoming and inclusive toward all speakers at public meetings and to create an atmosphere of mutual care and respect. These meetings often provide an opportunity to provide public input and for community members to share thoughts and opinions with their elected leaders. However\, they are not a time to level personal attacks or threats\, disrupt the meeting\, use obscene\, vulgar\, or discriminatory language\, or discourage anyone from participating. While community members may disagree with each other or the City on issues and give critical feedback\, they are expected to do so respectfully\, under these rules. This advisory body will hear five public comments limited to 2 minutes each or 10 minutes total. If a speaker is over the allotted 2-minute time they will be asked to pause or be muted to advance the meeting. \nToggle *(Star) nine to raise/lower hand\, and *(Star) six to mute/unmute yourself.
