DESCRIPTION:Hybrid Meeting Notice:\nThe Human Rights and Equity Commission (HREC) will conduct its hybrid meetings via Zoom and in person at City Hall\, in Council Chambers\, 710 NW Wall Street\, Bend\, OR\, on the last Wednesday of the month\, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Virtual attendees must pre-register to receive a personalized Zoom link to join this meeting. \nTo Attend by Computer\, Pre-Register: \n You will receive an email confirmation with a personized link informing you how to connect via computer or phone. \nTo Attend by Phone (No Pre-Registration Required): \n\nDial Toll-Free: 1-888-788-0099\nWebinar ID: 819 1780 3632\nPasscode\, if prompted: 4732 (HREC)\n\nWatch the HREC regular hybrid meeting live at 4:30 p.m. \nTechnical Difficulties Connecting to this meeting: Call 541-410-9341. \nWritten and Oral Comments: \nPlease submit written comments to the Equity and Inclusion Department at equity@bendoregon.gov 24 hours before the scheduled meeting. \nPublic Comment during the Human Rights and Equity Commission is intended to be welcoming and inclusive toward all speakers at public meetings and to create an atmosphere of mutual care and respect. These meetings often offer an opportunity to provide public input and for community members to share thoughts and opinions with their leaders. However\, they are not a time to level personal attacks or threats\, disrupt the meeting\, use obscene\, vulgar\, or discriminatory language\, or discourage anyone else from participating. While community members may disagree with each other or the City on issues and give critical feedback\, they are expected to do so respectfully\, in accordance with these rules. This advisory body will hear five public comments for 2 minutes for 10 minutes.
