This class will include a full-body warm-up\, yoga postures\, breathwork exercises and be accessible for all ages. We will end with calming/restful postures.  \nAs the first daughter of two immigrant parents\, Jessica inherited the roses and thorns that come from leaving your home country for a better opportunity. The passion to share bilingual yoga came from the desire to make the practice of yoga accessible. There are communities that traditionally have not been exposed to these teachings\, but that would resonate with them if shared in their native language.  \nEn Español: \nÚnete a nosotros para una clase de Yoga Asana para principiantes. Por favor\, traiga una esterilla de yoga o toalla\, agua y cualquier manta u otros apoyos que le gustaría durante su práctica. DESCRIPTION:Vámonos al Cine Latinos Film Fest3:30 p.m. & 7 p.m. Showings\, The Tower Theater\, 835 NW Wall Street\, Bend \nHosted by: Vámonos Outside \nVámonos Outside is excited to present the inaugural Vámonos al Cine – Vámonos Outside Latino film fest. This cultural event will take place at the Historic Tower Theatre in Downtown Bend. This will coincide with the start of  Hispanic Heritage Month\, the celebration of Mexican Independence Day\, and the close of Welcoming Week. This event will be free to the community\, with an optional donation. Its intention is to inspire a connection between the Latino community and the natural world using films that focus on cultural representation and stories in outdoor recreation\, environmentalism\, or existing with nature. While there are many Latinx Film Festivals\, this one is solely centered around people and nature. Our motivation is to provide a space for Latine/Latino/Latina/Latinx representation and storytelling in the arts\, to advance belonging and inclusion in outdoor spaces\, and to inspire the continued stewardship that is culturally rooted through our ancestry.
