Navigating the Bend Municipal Airport.
The Bend Municipal Airport is located 8 miles from downtown Bend Oregon. The Airport has been in existence since the late 1930's and is currently the third busiest General Aviation Airport in Oregon. Bend is world famous for both its outdoor pursuits and pristine beauty.

TRAFFIC PATTERN ALTITUDES
- Fixed-Wing: 1,000' AGL (4,456 MSL); Left Hand Traffic Runway 34; Right Hand Traffic Runway 16.
- Helicopters: 500' AGL (3,956 MSL); Close-In Right Hand Traffic for Runway 34; Close-In Left Hand Traffic for Runway 16.

As our community grows, residential noise sensitive areas near the airport continue to expand. The recommended noise abatement in the Fly Friendly program is here to help preserve quality of life in our community. REGULATIONS
The FAA, in its role as the aviation arm of the US Department of Transportation, provides guidance and funding for the Bend Municipal Airport. As part of that process the City of Bend has adopted the following: Regulation, Policies and Guidelines

If your hungry come grab one of the Best hot dogs in the universe. Dogs & Fries is open from 7 am - 2 pm Tuesday - Saturday. They offer a variety of breakfasts (served all day), hot dogs, homemade french fries, salads, burgers, chili bowls and more.
