The Bend Detective Division is a highly respected and qualified division dedicated to the safety of our community.

The Detective Division's main objective is to work hand-in-hand with the uniformed officers of the patrol division in order to identify and apprehend criminal offenders, with a special emphasis on the investigation of major crimes. Through that cooperation, both divisions operate efficiently to apprehend offenders and resolve cases.  Patrol officers' reports and investigations are coupled with those produced in the Detective Division and are subsequently presented to the Deschutes County District Attorney's Office for prosecution. This division is overseen by Capt. Jason Maniscalco.
