The City of Bend offers free sprinkler inspections through the Sprinkler Inspection Program. Inspections are conducted by trained City staff and include a visual inspection, schedule review, system test, and answer any irrigation questions.

Sprinkler Inspection appointments are offered annually from June – September.  See the details listed below.

Determine Eligibility

You are eligible for a sprinkler inspection if you receive water from the City of Bend and you have an operating underground irrigation system.

Prepare Irrigation System for Inspection

Irrigation systems should be started for the season and in operable condition. Irrigation systems with missing sprinklers, major leaks, and/or damaged components may not be inspected. Please ensure the irrigation controller is accessible and free from obstructions and operating. Review Inspection Results

Inspection results will be available in a detailed report once the inspection is completed. Review these results and take the necessary actions listed in the report. Please let the Water Conservation staff know if you have any questions about the inspection results.
