Landscape contractors and WaterWise conservation staff reviewing landscape plan

A customized approach to reducing water use in larger landscapes, lowering utility bills, and gaining healthier, more water-efficient landscapes.

The goal of the Large Landscape Program is to provide large landscape owners of one acre or more with the technical expertise and water use data necessary to efficiently manage large landscape irrigation systems. Click to download the Large Landscape Program flyer.

DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the program, the property must be at least an acre or more of landscape and must be a City of Bend water customer. Typical participants in the program include city-owned landscapes, schools, parks, HOAs*, and churches.

* HOA participants must have approval from the HOA board.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Landscape owners meet with WaterWise Program staff to inspect irrigation systems, develop detailed irrigation water budgets, track actual water use versus the water budget, and identify the most cost-effective improvements to boost landscape water efficiency.  The result is reduced water use in the landscape, lower utility bills, and a healthier, more water-efficient landscape.

TO APPLY

Landscape and irrigation contractors or owners of one acre or more landscapes interested in learning more about the Large Landscape Program and how it could help serve themselves and their customers should contact the WaterWise Program at (541)317-3000, ext. 2 or conservation@bendoregon.gov.  Our staff will be happy to review the landscape and discuss a customized approach.
