The City of Bend offers GIS data and mapping services to internal City staff and the public.

A Geographic Information System (GIS) is a system used for collecting, storing, analyzing, and displaying spatially referenced data. GIS is used at the City for daily operations, long term planning, and to help make informed decisions for the benefit of our community.

AVAILABLE SERVICES:

Interactive Mapping Applications

View our interactive map gallery to explore a variety of City data, such as road closures, development activity, and Bend’s historic resources.

Printed Maps

If you would like to purchase a printed version of one of our large-format maps, such as our Zoning Map, please submit a Map Request Form to GIS@bendoregon.gov and you will be contacted for confirmation and payment.

Digital Data

The majority of data requests the City receives are for layers maintained and distributed by Deschutes County, such as property boundaries, political boundaries, and many others. Please visit the Deschutes County Data Portal to view data available for download.

To inquire about GIS data prepared and maintained by the City of Bend, please contact us. City-maintained digital data is generally available free of charge, with the exception of our aerial imagery products, which are available for purchase. Aerial imagery acquisitions were made in April 2019, March 2013, and April 2004. Data can be provided for the full extent of coverage (greater Bend area and Bend Municipal Airport) in SID format or by quarter section in TIF format. Topography data is available as well. Please refer to the City’s Fee Schedule for current pricing, or contact us for data specifications.
