SUMMARY:Anti-Bias Student Lessons
DESCRIPTION:Each year in Bend-La Pine Schools\, every student K-12 participates in a lesson on bias incidents: what is a bias incident\, why does it matter\, and how to interrupt\, report\, and prevent it.  The goal is to establish clear expectations and to build skills so each member of our learning community feels a sense of dignity and belonging in our schools.  Curious what these lessons look like and what they actually cover?  Community members are invited to join us to experience the exact same lesson our students get.  If kids can have these conversations successfully\, so can you!  Come check it out\, provide feedback\, and build community-wide skill on this topic. \nCada año\, en las escuelas Bend-La Pine\, todos los alumnos de primaria y secundaria participan en una clase sobre incidentes de discriminación: qué es un incidente de discriminación\, por qué es importante y cómo interrumpirlo\, denunciarlo y prevenirlo.
