SUMMARY:UGB discussion at "Pints and Politics"
DESCRIPTION:Oregon League of Conservation Voters (OLCV) will host a “Pints and Politics” presentation and discussion\, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday\, November 21st at Broken Top Bottle Shop\, 1740 NW Pence Lane in Bend. \nCity of Bend Principal Planner Brian Rankin will give a presentation on the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) Expansion project. According to the OLCV\, its staff and volunteers\, fellow community members\, elected officials\, and local candidates who care about protecting Oregon’s air\, water\, land and wildlife\, will attend the Pints and Politics event to learn about the proposal for urban expansion\, location of redevelopment\, and public infrastructure systems for our community. Attendees will be able to ask questions and learn how to offer input on the UGB expansion process.
