DESCRIPTION:Grand Re-Opening of CET’s Hawthorne Station Wednesday\, September 15\, 3 – 6 p.m.Host: Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council Location: Hawthorne Station\, 334 NE Hawthorne Ave\, Bend \nCascade East Transit (CET) has redesigned Hawthorne Station to create a more welcoming space for transit riders. Join CET for a tour of the new facility and learn about CET’s plans for future services. CET staff will provide step-by-step trip planning outside the station to encourage community members to try transit to reach their destinations in Bend and across our region. Participants will have an opportunity to provide recommendations for current and future transit services. Tote bags\, LED safety lights\, sunglasses\, and route maps will be given to attendees. A CET bus will be on display for attendees to learn how to safely board and exit the bus\, pull the cord\, and load a bike on the front of the bus.
