SUMMARY:Bend MPO Public Transit Plan
DESCRIPTION:A “mobile outreach” event will be held at Hawthorne Station in Bend on Wednesday\, April 4 from 1:30 – 5:30 pm to present information about the Public Transit Plan being developed for the Bend area. Results from recent surveys about transit will be available along with other information about transit and land use in Bend. The project team will be on hand to answer questions. Additional information\, including other scheduled outreach events in April\, can be obtained on the project website (http://bendoregon.gov/transitplan) or by calling the Bend MPO at 541-693-2113.\n    Mobile outreach events for the Public Transit Plan have been scheduled at several locations in Bend in April: \nWed 4/4: Hawthorne Station\, 1:30-5:30 pm     334 Hawthorne Avenue \nThu 4/5: Bend Community Center\, 10:30-12:30 pm     1036 NE 5th Street Bend \nSat 4/21: Earth Day Fair\, 11:30-3:00 pm     Kansas Avenue in Downtown Bend\n    Transit riders and community members are welcome to drop by to learn about results from recent surveys and other information from the initial project report on existing transit/land use conditions. There will be an opportunity to provide additional input on shaping the transit system in Bend.     Bend MPO staff and other members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions.
