SUMMARY:Public Works Open House
DESCRIPTION:Join the City of Bend in celebrating National Public Works Week. As part of the celebration\, the Bend Public Works Department will host an open house on Wednesday\, May 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with fun for the entire family. The open house will be held at 575 NE 15th Street.  \nActivities will include:  \n\nInteractive displays \nEquipment demonstrations \nLive Music \nConservation and pollution prevention giveaways \nElementary school tours begin at 9:10 am \nPaint the snowplow display \nPrivate vendor displays including a helicopter service \n\nVisitors will see displays and demonstrations about the many services provided by the City of Bend Public Works Department\, such as snow and ice control\, water resources\, sewer maintenance\, and stormwater pollution prevention. Staff members will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate the many innovative programs the Public Work Department uses to provide vital services to Bend residents\, businesses and visitors.  \nFor more information call the Public Works Department at 541-317-3000.
