US97 Bend Parkway Plan
The US97 Parkway Plan was a multi-phase planning process to improve safety, mobility, active transportation, and transit use on the US97 Parkway between Tumalo Road and Baker Road, most of which is within the city of Bend, Oregon.

BMPO Role
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) sponsored this project in coordination with the City of Bend and the Bend Metropolitan Planning Organization (BMPO). The BMPO Policy Board oversaw development of the plan and served as the project steering committee. The results of the overall planning effort (Phase 1 and Phase 2) became a part of the 2019 BMPO Metropolitan Transportation Plan and informed related regional planning efforts, such as the City of Bend Transportation System Plan.
