An Ad-Hoc Subcommittee of Central Oregon Area Commission on Transportation (COACT)
Purpose Statement
Create regional efforts to eliminate deaths and serious injuries on Central Oregon's transportation systems.
Goals
- Reduce fatal and serious injury crashes
- Identify key safety needs and guide safety investments in infrastructure and behavior programs to meet those needs.

Charter
The committee charter provides short- and long-term goals. The document will be amended as committee progress occurs and objectives are developed. Last updated in November 2022. View the charter here.

- Jerry Brummer – Crook
- Patti Adair – Deschutes
- Wayne Fording – Jefferson
- One member from urban area and/or bike/pedestrian representation
- Krisanna Endicott – City of Redmond
- Dave Thomson – Deschutes County Bike & Pedestrian Advisory Committee
- One member from Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT)
- Robert Townsend – ODOT
- One member of Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)
- Barb Campbell –Bend MPO Policy Board Chair
