Please note you must be the applicant or a listed contact on the project to request inspections.
Option #1 works best when you have a limited number of projects, as you can view them all from this screen.
- Sign in to your Portal account.
- Click on the My Items list, then click to expand the appropriate service area.
- Locate the application's Reference Number then click Request Inspection.
- All outstanding inspections are listed with a sequential number
- Lower number inspections must be requested first
- If this is the first time requesting an inspection for the project, you can work from the top down. However, if an inspection fails, it will be re-added to the bottom of the list.
- Click the checkbox for the inspection you'd like to schedule. To schedule multiple inspections within the same sequence, check the boxes next to each inspection.
- Click Next Step
- Select the date you'd like the inspection
- Include any relevant notes for the inspector, enter a contact email and complete the CAPTCHA. The contact email may receive a notification email when the inspector is on the way.
- Click Next Step for the confirmation page.
If you receive an error that your inspection cannot be requested, please re-review your list of inspections to ensure there are no preceding inspection sequences outstanding.
Inspections are not guaranteed for the date they are requested, but every effort will be made to accommodate the request.
Option #2 is useful if you have many projects or upcoming inspections.
- Sign in to your Portal account.
- Click on Request an Inspection under the service area for which the application was submitted
- To search by reference number, enter your project number and select from the list
- To search by address, enter your search and select from the list
- If the property has multiple applications, scroll to find your application
- Once you've located the project, click Request Inspection
With your inspection scheduled, you can view Upcoming Inspections from My Items.
