The Citywide Parking Study is a technical review and assessment of the City’s existing parking goals, policies, and standards.
The City and the Bend Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) are required by State law (OAR 660-012-0045(5)(d)) to make sure that our parking requirements are “right-sized” for our needs. Excess parking can drive up the costs of development, inhibiting housing affordability and economic growth.
