Engineering & Agreements
For permits and inspections of privately-funded work in the public right-of-way.
We review, permit and inspect privately-funded work in the public right-of-way per City of Bend Standards and Specifications and other local, state, and federal requirements. Engineering staff review and approve permits related to street improvements, utility installations or abandonments, grading and erosion control, stormwater management, and traffic control. Right-of-way inspectors field-verify that projects are constructed per approved plans.

Public access to ePlans is now read-only. Documents for applications that were in-process prior to December 14, 2020, can still be viewed via our ePlans webpage. All applications submitted after this date are available via the Online Permit Center.
