Building Safety Division Electronic Review Process Changes Effective September 1, 2013

Effective September 1, 2013, plan submittals uploaded with the incorrect orientation will be rejected and plan review will not begin until the project documents and plans are uploaded in the correct orientation.

The correct orientation for all documents and plans is left to right readable.

Completing plan review for projects where the plans are incorrectly oriented expends an exorbitant amount of staff time. Now that the economy is coming back and the volume of projects to review is double that of the previous year the division is moving forward with enforcement of this policy.
