Stormwater Education Materials
Hands on teaching tool illustrating how water moves through a watershed. The model can be used to explore stormwater and groundwater pollution and teaching about pollution prevention techniques.

This sizeable interactive display demonstrates how stormwater is injected underground towards groundwater supplies.

The printable 1st-5th grade stormwater activity guide teaches students about stormwater pollution approaches, critical thinking, and a better understanding of where rainwater goes after a rain or snow event.

Better Site Design Field trip Guide: This 3-mile walking tour will take you to design elements that help improve water quality along the Deschutes River. You’ll start your tour at 680 SW Powerhouse Dr and work your way through the map, stopping at each spot for an overview of the design and how it’s helped reduce water quality issues.
