Report A Spill
The City of Bend’s stormwater motto is, “Only rain in the storm drain.” If you see anything besides rain or snow entering a storm drain, contact us to help keep our waters clean.
If you spot anything unusual in a storm drain, contact us:
OR Call us: 541-317-3000, ext. 2.
You can help the City of Bend keep unwanted materials out of our system. When reporting issues please provide as much information about the spill you see as possible, such as the type and color of the spill, where you saw it, the time you noticed it, and the nearest cross streets. Also, let us know the best way to contact you if we need more details. If you can, take a picture of the spill or discharge.
How to Spot a Prohibited Spill
- Stains around storm drains: Look for discoloration or residue on the ground surrounding storm drains.
- Stains on storm drains: Check for any marks or buildup directly on storm drains.
- Unusual smells near storm drains: Notice any strange or foul odors coming from or around storm drains.
- Water flow during dry weather: Observe if there’s water flowing into storm drains when it hasn’t rained recently.
- Hoses or pipes releasing water into the street: Identify any hoses or pipes that are directing water onto the street or into storm drains.
