Sprinkler Inspection Program
The City of Bend offers a free Sprinkler Inspection Program to help residents maintain efficient irrigation systems. This program runs annually from June to September and includes a thorough inspection by trained City staff.
Our trained City staff will check your sprinkler system with a visual inspection, schedule review, and system test. We’ll also answer any questions you have about irrigation. Here’s how it works:
Eligibility
You are eligible for a sprinkler inspection if you are a current City of Bend Water Services customer and have an underground irrigation system that works.
NOTE: If your landscape is an acre or larger, please check out our Large Landscape Program.
How to Schedule
Starting on June 1st of each year, City of Bend Water Services customers can make appointments by self-scheduling. Need help? Call the City of Bend Water Services Department at 541-317-3000, ext. 2.
Getting Ready for Inspection
Make sure your irrigation system is up and running for the season. Systems with missing sprinklers, major leaks, or damaged parts might not be inspected. Ensure the irrigation controller is easy to access and working properly. Check out the resources below to know what to expect during the inspection:
After the Inspection
We will email a customized report to you including issues found during the inspection, an optimal watering schedule and tips to improve efficiency.
