15th Street Neighborhood Greenway Open House

Meet neighbors, learn about Neighborhood Greenways, review the preliminary design, ask questions,
provide feedback and identify concerns.
Neighborhood Greenways are select side streets (typically residential) that create easygoing bicycling between homes, commercial venues, services, parks, schools and jobs. Design features protect neighborhood character and livability with 20 mph speeds and help crossing busy streets while maintaining motor-vehicle circulation for emergency service providers and residents to get to homes and businesses.
The City Council adopted the 2018-2021 Capital Improvement Program with a basic network of about 9 miles of Neighborhood Greenways. SW/NW 15th Street south of Galveston is included in Phase 1 of this project.
