Larkspur Neighborhood General Meeting

Please join the Larkspur Neighborhood for their general meeting on Monday, Nov. 13 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Larkspur Community Center (1600 SE Reed Market Rd, Bend). Come early and enjoy snacks and light drinks at 5:30 p.m. while meeting your neighbors, then listen to speaker presentations. 

Key Topics / Guest Presentations: 

• Ariel Mendez, Bend City Councilor will provide a general update on the City’s work on houselessness.
• Mike Krantz, Bend Police Chief will provide a general overview of crime in Larkspur and give an update on the Camping Code implementation to date.
• Chuck Swann, Streets Division Manager will provide an overview of the City of Bend’s winter operations (methods and priorities for snow removal)

The Bend Neighborhood Districts (commonly known as Neighborhood Associations) are recognized in Bend Code Chapter 1.70 Neighborhood Associations. Neighborhood Districts maintain and improve the quality of life in Bend, increase community member participation in local decision making, and form an effective partnership between the City and neighborhood residents.
