Albany – 14th St – Work has begun

• Work on Albany/14th Street has begun. Traffic patterns in this area continue to be of concern to residents and businesses near to the project. Please be considerate of the families that live in this area.

• The Albany/14th Street intersection work is scheduled to be completed next Friday, June 22. The intersection will re-open at this time.

• Final lift paving is scheduled for night time work beginning June 25th. Striping will follow the next two nights, June 26 and 27. These tasks will wrap up the work along 14th Street between SW Simpson Av and Albany Av with the exception of final landscaping.

Work continues along the west side of 14th Street between Newport Av and Galveston Av.  Northbound traffic is currently still allowed. Full closure along this corridor is scheduled to begin on July 9 and is anticipated to last eight weeks.
