Installing mechanical equipment for commercial construction requires a permit.

Mechanical Permit Application

Please submit the following items with the Mechanical Permit Application:

New construction:

• Cut sheets
• Site plan – please see : Mechanical Permit Planning Requirements
• Mechanical permit worksheet – please see:Mechanical Permit Worksheet

Like for like:

• Cut sheets
• Proof that old unit exists – picture, aerial shot, google street view
• Mechanical permit worksheet – please see:Mechanical Permit Worksheet

New installations require review. Estimated turnaround time – no more than 5 business days.
Like for like installations can be permitted within 1 day.
