Drake Pump Station Weekly Update – August 28, 2020
Improvements Continue on the Drake Pump Station
- K & E Excavating construction crews will be working on upgrading the pump station this next week.
- Active Culture is open during construction.
- Work hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday -Friday.
- During work hours:
- NW Riverside will be intermittently closed to thru-traffic from NW McKay Avenue to NW McCann Avenue.
- NW Congress will remain closed to thru-traffic from NW McKay Avenue to NW St. Helens Place.
- Detour routes and traffic control devices will be implemented for both road closures.
- During work hours:
- Drake pump station upgrade is scheduled to be completed in November 2020.

- Please stay out of work zones and away from construction equipment. Excavated areas are considered unsafe for yourself, children, and pets.
- Walk and bicycle in designated areas only.
- Access to the construction area is limited to construction workers.
- Do not remove barriers or warning signs/warning tape or fencing.
- Construction is dependent on weather conditions and other factors.
