Last URAB Meeting Outcomes

At their last meeting on Tuesday, April 14, the Urban Renewal Advisory Board (URAB) reviewed the Draft Core Area Tax Increment Finance (TIF) Plan & Report as well as the Draft Core Area Project Report. A recording of the meeting is now available on the URAB webpage.

At the meeting, URAB recommended the Draft Core Area TIF Plan & Report be considered by the Bend Urban Renewal Agency (BURA) and future adoption by the City Council.

Similarly, the board recommended the Draft Core Area Project Report, with modifications outlined in a memo prepared by staff prior to the meeting, to be considered for approval by BURA and City Council. Read the Core Area Project Report Executive Summary.

On May 20, BURA will consider a resolution to authorize the Draft Core Area TIF Plan & Report for formal review/comment by the applicable taxing districts, the County Commission, and the Planning Commission. In addition, City Council will consider a resolution to approve and adopt the Core Area Project Report which includes a comprehensive set of recommendations to support the vision and guiding principles recommended for the area that were identified during the URAB and Core Area Project planning process.
