Construction Activities – Week of April 26

• Preparation for irrigation and landscape improvements along Murphy Road begins.
• Crews will continue pouring curbs, sidewalks, and driveways between Benham Road and Parrell Road.
• Fence work will begin on the retaining wall along Murphy Road, west of Tapadera Street.

Work continues on the west abutment of the BNSF bridge overcrossing in preparation to set beams in the coming weeks. 

Safety Tips

• Drive carefully and slowly through the construction site.
• Please obey the posted speed limits in the work zone area.
• Keep an eye out for construction workers, their equipment, and vehicles.

Traffic Reminder

The south and east leg of the Murphy Road/Country Club Drive roundabout are open. Murphy Road is one way from Country Club to Parrell Road (local access only).

Westbound Detour: Take Murphy Road to Country Club Drive. Turn right on Knott Road. Turn right on China Hat Road. Turn right on Parrell Road.

Eastbound Detour: Take Murphy Road to Parrell Road. Continue on Parrell Road, turn right on Brosterhous Road, and follow to stop sign. Turn right on Brosterhous Road and follow through Brosterhous Roundabout to Murphy Road.
