Newport Corridor Improvements Project Update – June 17, 2021
SAFETY FIRST
The last day of school is here! When using detour routes, expect more pedestrians at crosswalks and on side streets. Slowly approach intersections where visibility is limited and follow posted speed limits. Please talk with your students about the construction zone markings and the importance of following all designated pedestrian detours.
CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION KIOSK
On Tuesday, June 22, the City will continue its informational kiosk in front of the Newport Market from noon to 1:30 PM. Over the past month, we have had the opportunity to provide additional details of the upcoming changes to the Newport Ave corridor. Please stop by and meet with our team for any questions regarding this project.
