CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION KIOSK

Above Photos:
City of Bend staff and the project team added some hands-on learning to the tree storyline curriculum at Highland Magnet School. The students learned how trees help with stormwater management. The soil and plants in the new stormwater planters installed on Nashville Avenue will help clean stormwater before it drains into the river or toward our groundwater. They also interacted with an Underground Injection Control (UIC) model to learn how UICs help protect our groundwater from pollutants.
