90-DAY NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF
SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CHARGE METHODOLOGY
The City of Bend hereby issues public notice, pursuant to ORS 223.304 (7), of its intent to hold a public hearing to consider adoption of a supplemental sewer system development charge (SDC) for reimbursement of sewer infrastructure costs in the Southeast Area.
The City will hold a public hearing on August 20, 2025, at the City Council meeting that begins at 7:00 p.m., regarding the proposed adoption of a supplemental reimbursement SDC methodology and schedule of charges. The City of Bend Council will conduct this meeting virtually through Zoom and in person at the Bend City Hall, Council Chambers, 710 NW Wall Street, Bend, Oregon. To observe this meeting, livestreaming will be available at www.bendoregon.gov/councilagenda.
If adopted, the proposed supplemental sewer SDC is presently planned to go into effect for all applicable permits applied for on or after August 20, 2025. The supplemental SDC will apply only to new development in the sewer basin served by the sewer improvement in the Southeast Area, as shown in the methodology. See attached map for applicable area.
The methodology and calculation of the potential charges will be available for review no later than June 21, 2025 (at least 60 days prior to the public hearing) at the following location: Bend City Hall, 710 NW Wall Street Bend, Oregon. The report will also be posted on the website www.bendoregon.gov/seaps.
