Seeking Mental Health Practitioner
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROCESS OPEN:
Mental Health Wellness Practitioner
Bend Police Department
The mental and physical wellbeing of our employees are top priorities for us. Our wellness program, which was nationally recognized in 2018 by Destination Zero and National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, encompasses many different aspects of what it takes to be mentally and physically fit, in a high stress/high stakes environment. Yoga, team workouts, mindfulness, and an embedded mental health wellness practitioner are just some of the key components of our program.
This innovative program led to substantial decrease in work-related injuries in our staff. Healthy cops contribute to a healthy community! More info on Destination Zero award: https://bit.ly/3jjVkDh
Our mental health wellness practitioner is a contracted City position, and proposals are now being accepted through an RFP process. Proposal requirements for this RFP (#21-1116) are available by registering here: https://bit.ly/3oMrVTr.
