Sept 14th Update

  • Safety continues to be of prime importance as construction crews continue work in this corridor.
    We encourage motor vehicle traffic on neighborhood streets to drive at or below designated speed limits and be cautious of bicycle and pedestrian/student traffic.
  • There are still a number of projects affecting traffic patterns throughout the City of Bend. Please slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
  • The 14th Street Reconstruction Project is moving forward at a good clip. Construction activities over the next two weeks between Albany Av and Galveston Av will include:
    • Tree Removal within the public right-of-way
    • Storm Drainage updates along the entire corridor
    • Curb staking, forming and pouring along both sides
    • Landscaping along the north segment, Galveston Av to Newport Av.
