SW Sewer Basin Phase 2B Project Update – April 25, 2022

SAFETY FIRST

Please be aware of construction activities and drive carefully through the work zone, including open-trench excavation. Open trenches are fenced off at the end of each day. 

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Week of April 25 construction activities:

  • Crews have completed installing the new sewer main and service laterals for the project. 
  • Crews will tie in an existing service line from the Romaine Village park to the new sewer main heading east down Mahogany Street. This construction includes partial closures and detours.
  • Crews will continue removing existing curbs & asphalt and prep for new curbs along McMullin Drive and Mahogany Street. This construction includes partial closures and detours.

DETOURS IN EFFECT

  • A portion of the streets mentioned above may be closed for grading and sewer construction activities. Please follow the necessary road closed and detour signs and reference the detour map below for additional information.
  • Flaggers will be present for the construction activities as needed.

General Project Notes

  • Access to all businesses located at the end of Romaine Village Way will be maintained.
  • Emergency access will be maintained throughout construction.
