SW Sewer Basin Phase 2B Project Update – March 21, 2022

SAFETY FIRST

Please be aware of construction activities and drive carefully through the work zone, including open-trench excavation. Open trenches are fenced off at the end of each day.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 

Week of March 21 Construction Activities

  • Crews will begin excavating and decommissioning existing pump stations along McMullin Drive. This activity includes partial road closures and detours.
  • Crews will prep and pave along Romaine Village Way, Ridge Drive, and Cinder Lane. This activity includes partial closures and detours. 
  • Crews may begin excavating and installing the new sewer main along Mahogany Street. This activity includes full closures and detours (reference image below for detour).

DETOURS IN EFFECT

  • A portion of the streets mentioned above may be closed for grading and sewer construction activities. Please follow the necessary road closed and detour signs and reference the detour map below for additional information.
  • Flaggers will be present for the construction activities as needed.

  • Access to all businesses located at the end of Romaine Village Way will be maintained.
  • Emergency access will be maintained throughout construction.
