Weekly Construction Update – March 19, 2020
Construction activities for the upcoming week include:
- Crews will continue utility work on the east and west side of Murphy Road.
- Construction of the retaining wall will be completed.
- Asphalt paving will take place.
- Crews will complete sidewalk concrete work.
The contractor, K&E Excavating, appears to be ahead of schedule. More news to come next week on the opening dates of the roundabout. Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and other factors.
Road Closures:
- Northbound and southbound traffic on Brosterhous Road is closed at Murphy Road.
- Brown Trout Place is closed to traffic at Murphy Road.
- A temporary two-lane bypass road is open at the southwest corner of Brosterhous Road, connecting to Murphy Road to accommodate traffic around the construction area.
