Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – January 09, 2023

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Modernization of 9th Street to 15th Street – January 9 through January 13 

  • Crews will excavate the curb and sidewalk at the SW corner of Wilson Avenue. 
  • Trenches will be dug to place underground utilities between Manley Place and the south side of 15th Street. This work will continue through January 20. 
  • Crews will be placing fill between Wilson Avenue and Wildcat Drive. 
  • Drywells will be installed.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

Please be prepared for flaggers coordinating traffic control and possible short delays around the intersection of Wilson Avenue and 15th Street. Drivers will have full access, and no significant impacts are anticipated to 15th Street until late February 2023. 

  • Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained. 
  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours. 
  • Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. 
  • There are many construction projects in the area and throughout the City of Bend. Travel safely.

PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS

  • Please help us in spreading the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures. 
  • EMS, buses, and other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
