Check out these tips for navigating Bend’s first bicycle-protected roundabout. 

Bend's first ever bicycle protected roundabout will operate the same as a single-lane roundabout, with the addition of a protected bike lane around the outside between the sidewalk and the vehicle lane

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 

  • The 9th Street and Wilson Avenue roundabout is set to open to traffic after 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 30. 
  • Landscape and irrigation work will continue through early July.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

  • Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
  • Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS

  • EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
  • Please help us spread the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
  • Share the project website information (provided below), where others can also sign up for updates.
