Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – March 28, 2022

SAFETY FIRST

Please follow detour signage for the safest route around the construction corridor. Use safe speeds along the detour routes.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

9th Street and Wilson Avenue Roundabout – March 28 through April 1          

• Street excavation work continues on Wilson Avenue and Ninth Street.
• Crews will begin placing base rock to provide stabilization under the new road.
• Streetlight prep continues with the placement of conduit and junction boxes.
• Installation work continues on the Ninth Street catch basins.
• Crews will continue digging and installing drywells.

DETOURS IN EFFECT

The 9th Street/Wilson Avenue Intersection Remains Closed. The following detour remains in effect.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

• Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
• Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
• Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS

• EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
• Please help us in spreading the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
• Share the project website information (provided below), where others can also sign up for updates.
