Pilot Butte Cemetery
Pilot Butte Cemetery was established in the early 1900’s and is listed as one of Oregon’s Historic Cemeteries.
Located south of Pilot Butte State Park, Pilot Butte Cemetery provides a valuable connection to Bend’s past with headstones dating back to 1903. The 40 acres of grounds offer 14 acres of burial plots and 2 columbariums containing 160 niches. The space hosts a tranquil environment with a park-like setting, providing a peaceful area to remember loved ones.
There is a new option for cremation services at the Pilot Butte Cemetery. The City of Bend has installed a columbarium which is a wall that contains niches where cremation urns can be stored. This is a new service for the community that aims to give more options for burial services. Our niches are secured by lock and key, providing a place for family and friends to pay respects to a loved one much in the same way a grave does, securing a permanent memorial that is designed to stand the test of time.
