The Human Rights and Equity Commission (HREC) will conduct its hybrid meetings via Zoom and in person, in the Boardroom, 710 NW Wall Street, on an alternate date, day and month, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, in the Boardroom, from 4:30 to TBA pm. Virtual attendees must pre-register to receive a personalized Zoom link to join this meeting.

Public Comment during the Human Rights and Equity Commission is intended to be welcoming and inclusive toward all speakers at public meetings and to create an atmosphere of mutual care and respect. These meetings often offer an opportunity to provide public input and for community members to share thoughts and opinions with their leaders. However, they are not a time to level personal attacks or threats, disrupt the meeting, use obscene, vulgar, or discriminatory language, or discourage anyone else from participating. While community members may disagree with each other or the City on issues and give critical feedback, they are expected to do so respectfully, in accordance with these rules. This advisory body will hear five public comments for 2 minutes for 10 minutes. If a speaker exceeds the allotted time, they will be asked to pause or be muted to advance the meeting.
