Go Electric: Efficiency and Comfort for Renters
Renters have real options when it comes to making their homes more comfortable and energy‑efficient. Join us for this free “Go Electric” workshop designed specifically for renters living in both single‑family homes and multi‑family buildings. Local experts, Jessica Taylor (NeighborImpact) and Tim Davis (Elevate NP) will share practical, renter‑friendly strategies to improve comfort, reduce energy costs, and access available tools and programs. The workshop will include a 60‑minute presentation followed by plenty of time for audience Q&A. Renters of all kinds—apartments, houses, duplexes, and ADUs—are encouraged to attend. We hope you’ll join us!
This workshop is Part 3 of the City’s Go Electric: Sparking Conversation Around Energy Efficiency series. The series is designed to help community members understand what energy efficiency and home electrification are, what options are available locally, how these technologies work, and the impact they can have on comfort, energy costs, and the community. While we encourage in‑person attendance, especially to enjoy free food, connect with neighbors, and get hands‑on support, we also know that schedules can be busy. For your convenience, we’re hosting this as a hybrid meeting, with this Zoom link as a virtual option if attending in person isn’t possible: https://bendoregon-gov.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_sakYgY3iSFyWD93_mZlqjw
