WELCOMING WEEK: Launch Celebration

Join your neighbors as we kick off the beginning of a new tradition in Bend: the first-ever Welcoming Week, an annual celebration of our diversity honoring and exploring our immigrant roots and diverse traditions. Community members will speak briefly to share their thoughts about the importance of the week’s purpose. Live Spanish translation. A reception will be held immediately afterward at a nearby location to be announced at the event.

Invited guests include: City Councilors; Bend-La Pine School Board member, Carrie McPherson-Douglass; Bend School Teacher, Rebecca Easton; and others.
