A new, user-friendly way to pay in downtown parking garage
The City of Bend has installed new electronic pay stations in the downtown Centennial Parking Plaza. The equipment is in addition to the existing honor pay boxes and is designed to give customers added convenience and flexibility when paying for parking. Parking rates at the garage will remain the same; free for the first three hours and $1.00 per hour after that.
The new user-friendly pay stations are located in the Oregon Avenue lobby and at the alley level of stairway B in the parking garage. They conveniently accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. They do not accept coins and will not give change. If parking more than three hours, customers should use the pay station in advance and display the receipt face up on the dashboard of their vehicle for enforcement purposes. For customers who do not plan on parking in excess of two hours, there is no need to have a receipt printed or displayed.
New signage has been installed throughout the garage with directions to the pay stations and instructions for their use.
